Many were imprisoned and killed protesting Ayub Khan's military rules: 6-point of movement of 1966, Mass Uprising of 1969, etc. Finally, Bangabandhu asked his people to raise arms against the Pakistani military who killed hundreds of people during the peaceful protests of the 1971. If you tell the story of the war, you must mention the bravery and far-sightedness of Tajuddin Ahmed, Syed Nazrul Islam, Captain Monsoor Ali, Kamrujjamn, General Ataul Gani Osmani, and many others. Three milion people were massacared by the Pakistni military and local collaborators. Hundreds of thousands of women were raped. Village after village, town after town, were burned to the ground. There were deadbodys lying in every plain, and floating in every river. There were hardly any family who did not lose something in this war. At the very end, facing an imminent defeat, the coward Pakistani military and the local collaborators (mostly, Jamat-e-Islami cadars) systematically killed many of the leading intellectuals of the country. These war criminals have never faced justice for crime against the humanity.

CLIMATE

The climate in Bangladesh is tropical though it has a mild winter through October to March and a hot and humid summer between March and June. The rainy monsoon season is humid and warm between June and October when it is prone to flooding .

   Tourism alive and Well in Bangladesh.

Since the year 2000 tourists arriving in Bangladesh have been swelling in numbers. Also travelling further within the country and visiting places like Cox' Bazaar, Teknaf, the Sundarbans, Kuakata, Paharpur and Tetulia. Not only is it international visitors but locals are also taking their holidays and coming to Dhaka, Khulna and Chittgong. All these travellers require appropriate accommodation and the demand in hotel beds and restaurants are now being met for every taste and every budget.

            

              

The language of Bangladesh is Bengali (Bangla). Bengali is an Indo-Aryan language it evolved from Sanskrit. Sanskrit being one of the oldest languages documented in the world. Bengali writing is a cursive script like other Indian scripts, originating from the Brahmi alphabet of the Asokan inscriptions. It contains 52 consonants and 12 vowels. English is also spoken in many places.

THE NAME OF MY COUNTRY IS BANGLADESH .IT IS SITUATED IN SOUTH- EAST ASIA. WE HAVE GAINED OUR INDEPENDENCE FROM PAKISTAN IN 1971.BANGLADESH IS A LAND OF NATURAL BEAUTY . IT HAS MANY BEAUTIFUL SCENERY AND WORLD HERITAGES.THE BAUDDIST VIHARA AT PAHARPUR, THE SHAT GAMBUJ MOSQUE AT BAGERHAT,AND THE SUNDARBAN ARE THREE WORLD HERITAGE SITES.BESIDES THESE THE SEA BEACH OF BANGLADESHIS THE LARGEST IN THE WORLD. IT`S AREA IS 155 SQUARE KILLOMITRE .

BANGLADESH IS A LAND OF NATURAL CLAMATIES. EVERY YEAR MANY NATURAL CLAMATIES VIAIT IN BANGLADESH .SUCH AS SIDAR , FLOOD, DROUGHTAND MANY OTHER CLAMATIES.

BANGLADESH HAS MANY PROVBLEMS. EXAMPLE ,POPULATION PROBLEM , PROBLEM OF FOOD,TERRISM, ILITERACY,UN EMPLOYMENT ETC.

AFTER ALL BANGLADESH IS A LAND OF PEACE COUNTRY. SO, I LOVE MY COUNTRY VERY MUCH
